I have been buying my coffee for the past few years at the coffee bistro near my house. It has excellent coffee which they roast themselves. Last week, however, I happened to have a cup of Folger's. I had forgotten how good Folger's was. I'll have to keep a little Folger's around the house along with the gourmet blends.
For you coffee freaks. I have found the best containers for keeping either ground coffee or coffee beans fresh. They're made by a company called friis. I have two and keep two different coffees to choose from.

We have a local market here in CT called Big Y.
I've tried a lot of different brands of coffee and I found that their own brand of hazelnut is the best.
Folgers rating in 2nd.

Folgers is the only coffee I purchase for home use.
Maybe no matter what coffee you drink, it's good occasionally to go back to one you drank long ago, just for "old times sake"?
Truffle flavored custom blend ... one day I will have money again but till then, Maxwell House.
WildBill...I've never had truffles, but I hear their great.
Danilo...You're right. With all the great coffees of the world, sometimes the old favorites are welcome friends.

Medaglia d'Oro brewed with a French press in the morning and the local roaster's 100% Columbian at night. For those special occasions, the same roaster's Jamaica Blue Mountain/Peaberry blend in a medium roast.

Honolulu, 45 years ago in a little German restaurant near Wakiki Beach. They served fresh ground Kona coffee. It was so good it brought tears to your eyes.

Costco carries an excellent Columbian coffee in the bean. They carry a variety of others, including coffees ground by Starbucks. I won't touch the Starbucks stuff simply because the few times I've been in Starbucks, I've found their coffee to be inferior and overpriced.

Great coffee brewed at just the right ratio can be fantastic. Get the ratio off and it's either too strong or so weak you have to throw it out.

Coffee is what I drink at home. Outside of the house, it's "brown liquid" until proven otherwise.

truffles are a fungus akin to the mushroom...I just don't see it.
Folger`s 100% Colombian med/dark is what I have every morning.
