Thinking of purchasing a tamron 18 to 400 from Amazon and the providing company is Digital Goqa, my question is has anyone used this company and what were the results? They add a lot of goodies to the package and are the same price as BH etc.

The goodies are a backpack, lens pouch, uv lens and some cleaning supplies. None of the other companies added anything to the lens. Same price from all. I will do an internet search-great idea.
Thanks

On Amazon, they direct you to the supplier for warranty information. You need to ask if this lens has a USA warranty or if it is gray market.

I retract my comment, review of the DG site shows that they do provide USA warranty. Their price for the lens alone matches all others ($649), but it may be a good kit for only an extra $10.

Forget the goodies. That's probably all they are. Look at their approval rating on Amazon. If the price is the same, but from a company you know and trust.

There is a difference of a warranty that they provide, and the mfg warranty for a USA version of a product. If not a USA version, it could be a "gray market" and would not get a warranty from the mfgr. JM2C.

Digital Goja has been my go to for high quality, low cost accessories, and 6 months ago they became an authorized Canon distributor. I would be comfortable ordering from them. Their lenses are not gray market.

Gary, I got a Tamron 90mm macro with those goodies. Great experience plus tax free. Six year warranty as well.
Regards,
Gary

Digital Goja is an authorized Tamron seller. Have no fear. They are a good up-and coming company. I have purchased a few small accessories from them and they are very appreciative of your business.
