Taken at the Bournemouth Oceanarium, this Perspex tunnel takes visitors through one of the larger tanks, with some serious fish swimming around. No fish worth mentioning in this shot, which is offered FYC as 'underwater street'. Your thoughts appreciated.

One impressive capture...hard to believe 100 iso..love the screen light reflection on the two left faces.

Nice capture. I agree with Frank it's hard to believe ISO 100.
Good Job!

Yikes, claustrophobia Love your vantage point and the composition. I'm going to try to remember to look again when I have a bright room because I suspect the two on the left will be more difficult to see. Like Frank mentions, their expressions in the light of the screen they're viewing are very cool.

Cool image, Dave!
Gotta admit, like Linda, to a twinge of claustrophobia!

If your intention was to create the impression of an underwater street, I think you succeeded nicely!

Thanks Frank - it was a snap, camera at whatever, focus is on the black lady centre. With aperture at 2.4 camera chose lowest possible ISO. The Sony is probably better at doing that than my Canon! Makes a change to see The Other Linda (mrs. mm, centre-right) with the sx50 down instead of to her eye!

Hi Linda. The overhead brightness alleviates the claustrophobia - I'd certainly have felt it otherwise. I lightened the faces of those two and the lady facing (I didn't see any of them through the viewfinder but like their expressions when viewing on my pc) - do you think I overdid it?

If I were going to choose a shot that would not work out really well, I should think shooting down a crowded tunnel at an aquarium would be the shot. Yet, with the kids at camera left and the very enthusiastic woman coming out of the tunnel in the red coat, this shot is actually quite intriguing. If the woman in red were in sharp focus it would be even more impressive. It is an unusual perspective and an unusual subject matter. I think it produced a really interesting photo. Well done.

Thank you Erich - afraid I didn't even see the lady to whom you refer!
