Early morning photo captured good lighting for the Osprey shot.
Hand held @ 800mm at a distance of 175 to 200 feet.
Canon 5Dsr - Canon 400 II DO f4 - Canon 2.0x III - 1/320 - f/8 - ISO @ 500.

I was lucky, at that distance, to get a good detailed shot. However, I do have great photo equipment ($11,000 worth).

Love it Regis ! I live on the NJ shore and there are a bunch of Osprey nests near my home. Every day I watch them and can hear them when they fly over my yard!! Thank You !!
