I would love to see these in B&W, I think the pattern and textures would really come to life!

I can try it tomorrow. The barn sits Northeast/southwest, and I was shooting toward the southwest. We are suppose to have another sunny day tomorrow, but I will see how many times I can get out there tomorrow.
The one thing I really like about the picture is the sun on the door and lumber under the window.
I was actually in the window shooting down at another barn that was being disassembled, when I turned around and took these shots.
I will play around over the next few days and see what I can come up with.

I took these shots yesterday in our barn. I like them all and am not sure which is the better composed. I like the close up, but I also like the pattern of the beams. I love the sun streaming in through the window and falling on the "junk". Some people in our family wouldn't call it junk but treasures.
These are all Straight Out of the Camera.
Which do you like best, what would you change, not change?
Thank you for your opinion.

Mama, I realy like the subject, but is there any way you can go back and take the picture when the sun is up but, not coming through the windows.
I feel it over powers the shot, the light is to intense. You need the light, and maybe some back lit light for the photo.
Intense sunlight rarely looks good coming inside a room, especially a very dark room. It's really hard photo to get right when you have direct sunlight in one area and strong shadows in another.
Try taking it at another time of the day. See how that works. An overcast day may also work.[/quote]

Ok finally got my computer cleaned off enough to download these and run through pse. On all of these I took an underexposed image and used the windows out of them in the image with the exposure that I liked.
The first two were taken in the morning and the third was taken as the sun was setting.
Do you like the square crop on the 2nd one?
How would you crop the ladder? I have been playing around with it and haven't found a crop I like.

At one point my tripod was moving and I looked down and the cat was "helping"

I really like the way you capture the light in the second picture. The one with just the side of the barn and the light coming in on the wood. Very nice Mama

Thank you,
I like that one also, but the only way I liked it was with a square crop.
