Call me slack , I've got data just sitting in data sticks begging me to play with it. Sorry , I've just not felt all that great to the point of dealing with it. I gave it a try the other day and "POW" I stacked another 10 and found more stars hiding in the data during some light processing.

Yeah!
Makes me wonder what's going on in these clusters...
Big holiday sale on Hydrogen?
A Black Hole that is just irresistible?
Fresh Doughnuts?
I also found that it also has several background galaxies Sonny ,by doing a bit of research into this "GEM" of the night sky. More data will reveal some more secrets hiding. Yes , I'm still boiling here in the Carolinas.

Sorry to hear it's boiling.
You know, in 6 months it will probably be cooler.
We suddenly have a bunch of cloud cover.
Just in time for the Eclipse... so typical for this area!
It'll most likely be cloudy and I decided not to even try to learn myself to image the eclipse, I'll just let the pros have at it and check there images out online The 15 of Sept. Sonny that's when the humidity drops off, not too far off. Your imaging is progressing at an alarming rate, looking real good. I may get this stuff down one of these days, weather , trees and pain just holds my progression back a bit.

That sounds good to me. In Wyoming when I lived there, the turn was around Mid-September with a good frost. Then some snap deep freezes.
I was going to go to Wyoming, and to my old stomping grounds. But decided not to. So I have my DVR set to record CBS' coverage, and have to check and see if our package includes the science channel like Craig suggested.
Sounds like a lot of people are going to try and get 'on the line' for the eclipse, and I just don't do well with crowds. No crowds in my backyard....
So instead of spending money on Gas, I spent my money on the right camera... finally. Due to a great friend giving me a hand up from the murky depths.
Weather, and trees, we can ultimately move away from or deal with. But pain always follows us. I'm sorry to hear of that.
For me, it's arthritis. My shoulder joints are becoming a place of joy for Costco and the Ibuprofen manufacturers stock holders. It hurts to carry my 13 pound telescope out to the mount anymore.
But all we can do is to persist for as long as we can.
I hear ya Sonny, I'm dying to get out and do something but, I step outside and it's like stepping into the rain forest "Super oppressive and humid". I'll get my time soon and try collecting some more data on m57 and get some sequences on m31 . I'll just pill up and lidocaine up and hope for the best.

I hear ya! My wife went to Tennessee in the summertime once to visit her folks. She said she won't ever do that again! Too hot and humid for her!
Hey, I got curious today and googled The Science Channel. Craig was right, good lead!
Hallelujah! It's on line as well! So maybe we can 'tap in', or click in.

That's great Sonny, might get some good seats for sure. The Summers aren't good for AP but, they're great for the "BEACH" or the pool.

...as long as the water isn't too cold...
(I'm 'alergic' to cold water.)
