still learning the P900, wide angle and macro great also. these were taken on a monopod, a tripod would be better
I have both the P100 and P600 and love them both just for the reasons you show! Have fun, remember it's digital, good size SD card, take lots of pictures, doesn't cost anymore to take lots and lots of pictures, go home, down load it on your computer, take your time looking at and tossing out the ones you don't like! Just a note, I move the ones I don't like to a separate folder before I dump them, I look at them several more times, I might have missed something!
top 2 are 2000mm 35mm equivalent, last one is 24mm 35mm equivalent
Subjects are dark but clear and focused, dof is working at least for me, after all who wants to look at wires, I want the birds and the nest! GREAT JOB!

when I learn more about this p900 I'll get them lighter, use a tripod also
got a 32gb sd card for now
The card will accept several hundred photos eazy, your all set there, maybe one extra uf your going on vacation or doing something like a wedding. As far as lighting up the photos you can also do it with software. Your go to go my friend!
this one is better, I was watching him look from side to side then he stared me down! I snapped the photo, lucky I was far away. 2000mm away
Amazing bird. I took one actually about 1000 shots between my Girl Friend and I, it is posted here in Photo Gallery. If you can not find I will PM it to you. I had never seen one in the wild before. Zoo's are one thing but in the wild is the cat's meow.
