First of all, let me thank all of you that were so helpful with your comments and tips.
As you can see, this was a production in a gym at a Boy's & Girl's Club in a small town of North Beach, MD. The production was 6 short plays written by high school students for a competition. Nothing professional, but I wanted to do the best job I could.
Here are the results: Both pictures were taken with a Canon 5D Mark III, using a 24-105 F4L Lens. I was sitting in the first row of the "theater". I used shutter priority at 1/125, F4 with ISO at 5000. The first shot was cropped in Picasa, the second was not.
Thanks again and stay tuned for my hockey pictures of my 8 year old grandson. God knew what he was doing when he invented grandchildren, lol!

The first - I'd crop just smidgen more from the left side - the brown whatever.
The second - I'd crop the top unless you want the banner but it distracts from the players.
I might tickle the color balance. Indoor lighting is often awkward no matter what you set your white balance to.
Good overall quality. I have the same camera and lens.
Nice work, Mike. Those kinds of shots are tough!
