The AA filter effect on the 5DRS is cancelled so effectively, no AA filter. The difference in dynamic range is so insignificant it really doesn't matter. There's only so much detail one needs to pull out of the shadows. Besides, the best image sensors in Nikon cameras are not made by Nikon and Sony, the company that owns the company that manufactures those image sensors, has announced it will no longer be selling its high end sensors to the competition. If Nikon image sensors are so superior to Canon image sensors then why does Canon outsell Nikon by about 3 to 1, especially in the professional market?! By the way, I own Canon, Nikon, Olympus and Sony digital cameras so, I am not a fanboy of any of them.

Based on Canon's release cycles don't expect an announcement until around fall of 2019, two more years. As for whether it will have 4K or no AA filter, why would you think the members of this forum have crystal balls.

There is talk over at Canon Rumors about the first half of 2018 for the 7DIII. Canon's CEO addressed about speeding up product cycles a year or two ago during an interview. It is a rumor yet CR often is accurate. As far as the AA filter goes, it's tough tp speculate but Canon tends to be conservative so I wouldn't count on it.
