My daughter and I had a great day at John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids. Weather was perfect and all the inhabitants struck unbelievable poses. I don't doubt
my images would be improved if I used a tripod but I find them a handicap so I do the best I can hand held. Thankfully I have a steady hand. This series is on the chimpanzees. I plan to
post tigers, lions, flamingoes, etc. sometime in the near future.
I love the humorous chimpanzees who are very entertaining as they go about their daily activities. The first image reminded me of Rodin's "The Thinker"- even tho' his hand wasn't
under his chin.
I would be pleased to receive comments and grateful for criticisms.

I just smile all over when I get A visit to the chimps is a sure cure for the 'blues.' I don't think there's any other animal who has that many expressions. Thank you, Angie, for
your very nice comment.

I'm hoping to post other zoo shots in a few days, Angie. I'm glad you are looking forward to them. The animals were doing a fantastic job posing the day
my daughter and I were at the zoo. Have a lovely day!😊
