Premired here, to my Friends who have helped me so very much.
More than you may ever realize.
I have a row of dates that contain nights of images. It begins at May 4, 2017 and runs to Aug 9,2017.
On July 12th, 2017 my entire efforts changed. That was the day the Atik Infinity arrived from a friend on loan.
He volunteered to put the camera into my hands to see what I might be able to do with it.
That first night, first image shocked me. I never would have believed it if I didn't actually do it.
And as the nights came, not was I disappointed. It only got better, and better.
Two years ago, with a bunch of expensive equipment on hand, and a vision in my head, I didn't have much hope to attain the dream.
But I wouldn't give up. No not me, not in my being to give up.
But I was stifled by some of my equipment. And had to learn my way around any pitfalls or stumbling blocks.
Most of you are as much a part of my success as anything... Thank You!

Absolutely amazing, Sonny. You worked so long and so hard trying to make that POS G3 work. (I have to say some of it's output was almost painful to look at.) I can only imagine what you'd be doing by now if you'd started with the Infinity.

Thank You!
I think the G3 was my learning curve. Maybe it was to teach me to appreciate something better. Lessons learned! And not just about a camera.
The Infinity OSC makes getting images downright easy.
It has given me a new confidence in my choice of telescope. In that, I believe I have a good lens. Which was the reason I chose it.
But what a tough learning curve it has been.
I think I've reached a high mountain meadow at long last.
Now to lay back, and enjoy the Stars...

I did actually write a comment but apparently UHH didn't like it.

I think I said something along the lines of: "Neat! A great compilation of images up the ol' learning curve..."

Very impressive 1st month. Sort of like the Star Ship Enterprise starting on its 5 year mission to explore outer space. You're on your way.

Yeah, I figured it was a hickup.
But I never pass up a chance to pull a leg...

The Infinity is like finding the top of the mountain, and there is the answer to the blisters from the learning curve.
It just works and does an amazing job at it.
Perfect for me! A simpleton with a simpleton designed camera.

Thank You Jim!
It is an amazing camera. And perfect for me and my simple ways.
And it gives wonderful images to work with. Just a few experimental tweaks and I'm more than happy.
Now that the Moon is getting beyond obnoxious, I'm shooting every night.

Very well done. I like you and many others, am completely shocked at the growth all of us have come through. I have fought with so many issues, and the hardest thing for me was to stop throwing good money after the bad.

In the end, all that really matters is that you enjoy the journey.
