...and the bible is riddled with stories about k*****g non-believers. Yet, all three religions, Judism, Christianity and Islam (in order of age) believe in the same god, the "God of Abraham." I could go on, but it would be before blind eyes.

Ummm.....things were a bit different thousands of years ago. Open YOUR eyes.

What is your point?

That you are a cafeteria christian. You pick one of those and 2 of those over there and one of these. If I'm not mistaken, it's a package and you accept it or you don't. I don't see that many christians getting worked up about adultry, I see even less upset about their neighbor mowing the lawn on the sabbath. People don't get upset about homosexuality because of the bible. They use the bible as an excuse to be upset about homosexuality.

You don't see me get upset about much. You call me a cafeteria Christian and you know not what you are talking about but keep trying if it makes you feel better about yourself.

It's definitely the position you are representing. I shouldn't have said that you are one as I can't know that, but it is what your words represent.
You made what I consider to be a big deal about the bible being down on homosexuality. When I said the bible speaks a lot more about adultery than it does homosexuality your response was "your point?" I haven't read any speeches on adultery from you. I have to assume you buy into the parts that reinforce what you already feel.

If you were paying attention to what you were reading, you would have noticed that I didn't bring up homosexuality, adultry or mowing the lawn on the sabbath.

Maybe you could create another straw man. It doesn't look like you are doing too well with this one.

You are correct in saying that you haven't read any speeches on adultry from me. You neglected to say that you haven't read any speeches on homosexuality, sodomy or beastiality from me. That doesn't mean that I approve of those things.

I just wanted to know what point you were trying to make. I'm sorry I put you on the defense.

This is just one of the versus from the Bible, but to me it spells the sin in the clearest way:

Romans 1:22-28:
22 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
23 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
24 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
25 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.
27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.

You may or may not relate to this, but this is what a LOT of Christians believe - whether they want to say it out loud or not. I want to shout it out loud.

That is extremely clear! Thank you.
