There are lots and lots of black chinned hummers around but very few of these rufous hummers. I finally got one this morning at the Rio Grande Nature Center in Albuquerque.

Aside from the amazing quality of the image - lighting, focus, resolution and black background - I'm impressed by the amount of patience needed to capture an image like this. Superb!

I think you should go back and shoot a little slower to show some wing flutter - JUST KIDDING. Excellent shot of a gorgeous animal.
