Okay, it seem we have some people hear with more then just Photography as an interest.

So, this thread is for the hunter, hunted, fish and fishers, or just any kind of out door type sport.

Please post your picture and the one with the biggest fish tale wins. None of that " it got away stuff" we need proof.

I am afraid I have no photos of my sporting exploits, but I do like how you look like your picking up this fish by merely pinching you fingers on its lip. I took a few seconds and saw the line coming out, but it still made me laugh how effortless it looks.

Now you know what I look like. Put a face to a name.
to tell the truth the big redfish like that arn't very good. I preferred the "puppy reds" around 16-20"

When you come to New Orleans, plan a day for going to "Da Parish" also. I have a beautiful camp their. Lot's of photo op's.

:D

That would be great :-) Last time we spent almost all our time in the Quarter .... probably because we were staying there and didn't rent a car. But there's time, so we'll talk in advance and work it out. How big WAS that fish? You could feed a small country on it!

He was 42" but , the meats no good on the big ones like that.
We catch Flonder, Bass, Red fish, Drum, Trout, Sheephead. Okay you get the pictures, it's a sportmans paridise.
Off shore( which I do not do) they catch Tuna, and sport fish.
I lazy, I like to go 5 minutes away and put my line in. Not to mention save myself the gas.

I'll post another picture, it's not hunting or fishing, but it's from the area.

Like lobster. The big ones are too tough to eat. You might as well throw them back. We once were given a HUGE one and we actually could not crack the shell.. Not me, my husband, or all the big strong guys who tried. Really HARD shell.
