Okay, so I clicked store original and it didn't work. I give up for now. Is it because they are jpgs? Or maybe I'm doing it in the wrong order.

In order to generate a download on UHH, I believe your photo must be more than 640 pixels wide. If you are re-sizing these yourself, go larger. If your software is doing for you, see if you can over-ride.

Cool owl! Re the orange moon, I am more than ready for clean air and something less than 100 degrees to move into smoky Yakima!

The fact that they are JPGS has nothing to do with your inability to download your photos, I find that some times they download fast and other times they take forever.

Thank you Linda. I will try what you suggested, and yes, despite the pretty moon and red sun in the morning, we are tired of the smoke too. It was the first owl I have had a chance to get a pic of; angry robins chased it out onto the path right in front of me.

Your file size --- 397 x 500 Pixels

Saving the original would not accomplish anything. As Linda said, the file size would need to be larger than the largest thunb nail.

That said, they look good just the way they are. The thumbnails will look good as long as you edit them for that size.

File size is something I will have to pay better attention to. Thank you.

Beautiful, jliane! I have yet to see an owl! Oh, and don't feel bad about trouble getting the "download"; I've been doing it for years and I still have trouble!

It was my first owl spotting too, at least one that was sitting still enough to photograph. Thank you for your response.
