Hi! Is it possible to mount this lense in correct position?
Lense is: 500mm/1000mm f/8.0 telephoto lens for Sony A mount DSLR cameras.
Received just yestarday ftom Amazon.
I've mounted one on my Sony A 99 camera and tried to shoot a few test pictures.
Lense doesn't have electrical contacts; full manual. Unfortunately scales ( distance and diagram) located on a bottom side.

There are screws on the T mount that you loosen, turn the lens body & then retighten the screws...

Thank you for your help.
Doesn't this adjustment affect the lense optical alignment and/ or mechanical parameters?

Thanks again, Scott! I'm going to try that as soon I'll get back home tonight.
I hope it will be interesting to shoot new solar eclipse with this lense....

I believe it is "Lens" not lense.
