Gorgeous blossoms, Angela, and your garden never ceases to amaze me. The muted colors and blurred backgrounds are so pretty. My favorite it the second shot with all the green with the pop of yellow. Your crepe myrtle is awesome. I'm thinking of getting one for my front yard. Unfortunately, my weeping cherry is dying. That's the exact color that I want.
Thanks for sharing more of your beautiful garden!

Thanks so much, Jane, for your always lovely comments and I'm so glad you enjoyed these. I have planted these two little crepe myrtles in pots and so far so good.... I'm not going to let them grow very big. So sorry to hear about your weeping cherry, I have one planted in my yard and I love it and so do the birds. Did you try feeding yours, maybe it will turn around!!

Unfortunately, it has to do with the root system. One large root is growing over and strangling another root. I hate to see it go!

Awww... that is so sad, especially it's a slow death..... I had a huge maple in my yard and also a wisteria... well the wisteria grew up to the top of the maple, then finally gave us flowers that we couldn't even see or enjoy, then slowly choked the life out of this huge maple. Had them both cut down, but those wisteria seeds are still popping up everywhere and also from the root that we didn't grind out!!
