Thank you, Joe. This was a sidewalk sale in front of a store. The owner used the plant to draw attention to the painting he was trying to sell. It caught my eye.

Thank you very much, Randy. One of the local shops had a sidewalk sale and had the plant near a picture they were trying to sell. I found a position to get them both in the frame and took the shot. I'm glad you liked it.

Thank you very much for your kind words, Angela. The painting was part of a sidewalk sale outside an antique store. The plant was nearby so I found a position where I could get them both in the frame. I had to crop tight as the painting was surrounded by various other artifacts.

July and August are great months for sidewalk sales in tourist areas so I go looking for them. Lots of opportunities with very little walking. Perfect for me. I'm glad you liked it.

Smart move, John... in moving the plant and taking the shot and I love the tight crop, it's all about filling the frame! Have fun going to those sales and always bring your camera!!

Hi John, it's good to see your post. I like the close crop without anything extraneous to take the eye from the geraniums, live and painted. very nicely done!!!!!

Hi Sirius. Thank you for stopping by. This was a sidewalk sale in front of an antique store. The painting was half hidden in the back and the plant was nearby. I finally found a position where I was able to get them both in the frame and take the shot. I did a tight crop to block out the articles crowded around the painting. I'm glad you liked it.
