views from Albania

In July, a group of six of us spent nine days in Pogradek, Albania, on the shore of beautiful Lake Ohrid. These are a few pictures taken while there.

Nicely done, but the rowboat seems to be exactly the same boat at the same angle with the same angle of light hitting it but on a different shore with a different background in the two photos. Not to mention the apparent sunlight coming from the right while the sun is obviously setting in the distance. Someone's porch light, or Photoshop?

Interesting observation. I thought the sun was to the right in both boat pictures, with the changing background caused by changing low clouds. The photographer would have only needed to turn to the right to get the picture of the setting (or rising) sun. That was just my impression, not an analysis. Now I'm anxious to see what the photographer says.

Nice photos. I am so delighted to see the scenery is so good for photos as I am going to be in Albania in late September for a week along with some travel to Macedonia and Serbia. I like the first boat shot the best. Great work!
