The impressive building is the first thing that hits your eye, then you wonder where the bridge is and who is crossing it? I like photos where the main subject is not the first thing you see. It is also pleasing that the figure is more or less centre of the triangular form.

Think you should go with the color on this one. The original is basically a monochrome anyhow, and the color helps to separate the various elements.
