Heading to play a round of golf at Ballyowens GC on Sunday. That would be in North Jersey. I was going up a day early and take the camera with me. Any Ida's or locations for shooting?

The Delaware Water Gap is awesome but a little out of your way.

QUIETLY shoot you opponents' shots - just to make sure they only take one mulligan each. LOL!
While up there try Buttermilk Falls (a little more north of the Delaware Water Gap - see picture). Also Washington's Headquaters and Jocky Hollow in Morristown.

High point state park is very close to where you are golfing. There is also Stokes state forest in the area. There is a large lake in Stokes and youll be able to capture some great shots. There are also a number of farms in the area. It's a beautiful part of the state and after you visit you will understand why they call it the garden state. You might even get to capture a shot of a black bear!!! Definitely bring the camera.
Quietly shoot your oponents swing? Nah! On the back swing

I remember the line from "Miss Congeniality." Why is NJ called the Garden State? They can't fit "Petrochemical and Oil Refinery State" on the license plate.
Try Jenny Jump in area of Stokes forest.
Lots of nice farms in that area of the water gap. Frenchtown can provide some historical shots too.
There is still one of two covered bridges in NJ in that area as well. I can't remember the road. Sorry.
