Shot these on Thursday afternoon, i just couldn't achieve the sharpness i was looking for, but was a wonderful view all the same.
C&C most welcome (i hope that means comments and critique!
:-)
Oh, shot with 'canon 8mg power shot'
All photos are as shot, although i have cropped as little as possible, as a couple needed straightening!

Wow Jason! All of them look really good to me. I don't do a lot of low light shots, the only thing I see is the exposer was too long and you got the movement in the Sun. But that is tough to do, you really don't have much time to play. It always surprises me how fast the Sun goes down.

nice..but what is the white spot in the first shot?
All shots are excellent and very clear for low light conditions. Only comment was 1st shot exposure to long as ERv noted you can see sun elongated from movement.

Hey thanks Erv, i should of put the shooting properties on each photo really!
The first two are:shutter 1/125, aperture 3.5, ISO 80
3rd: 1/80, 2.7, ISO 80
Last: 1/40, 3.2, ISO 80
All on tripod, but its a bit rickety!
every time i tried to wind the aperture up, the camera didnt seem to want to focus. And increasing the ISO, seems out of the question as the noise becomes unbearable imho.
Thanks again

Thanks jk48,
that wasn't supposed to be uploaded because of the white spot!
i left it there because i thought it would create some curiosity ;-/
I believe its a droplet falling from the tree, that the flash caught, as it had just drizzled.. ;-)

That spot lined up just right for the reflection in the water. Fooled me, but that doesn't take a lot. :) If you made it a round spot in PP you could get away with calling it the Sun. :)

Many times shooting at dusk or dawn you don't have a lot of options but you did very well given the conditions you were shooting in.
All shots look great to me. Guess I don't have the sharp eye you are looking for. Thanks for sharing. Bee

Beautiful pictures. I'm wondering though why the horizontal lines of the water run through the girls face and sholder. What causes that? Rbo36
