I shot these by a bridge in American Fork, Utah. I followed advice. The first shot is ISO 100 with 15 second lenses shot(the max for my camera), second with ISO 100 4 seconds, third ISO 100 with 1 second. Suggestions, comments welcome. I'm just a starter with this Bridge camera.

I like the last two, probably the last one best. I shoot a lot in Salt Lake at night. Just keep practicing, and remember, what you like is important.

I think they turned out well. I generally shoot night photography with black & white film. I think b&w film creates impressive results.

I really like the sky in #1. Keep going you're headed in the right direction.

I have found that, in night photography, Exposure Time is pretty forgiving, as long as you have enough of it. You don't have to worry, too much, about over exposure.
Experimenting is the best teacher.

You might want to try using manual focus (if your camera allows it). If you enlarge your pictures in your editing program, you will see that the lights in the background are not in focus giving your shots a mildly "fuzzy" look. Most cameras have a problem with autofocus in low light.

This is a great site. People on it have helped me many times. I kind of like the first pic. I especially like the star-burst effect of the lights. Night shots are tough. Keep it up!
