I gave my F150 the glamour treatment. :)
I hit a large deer one dark night with this truck and it protected us. Took about $11K to fix it.
It was such an impact that the air bags went off.

Nice looking truck. Not much you can do when they jump out in front of you, too bad though.

Thanks.
It was a black night on a two-lane road. I was going about 55 mph. Before the airbags deployed, I only saw the head of the deer over the hood for a millisecond before the airbags went off.
Exiting the truck, it was so dark that I could not see the dead deer anywhere. Next morning, I found the carcass on the OTHER side of the highway. It was a big deer, and someone had cut off the antlers.
I live in a rural area, and deer are common.

Thanks, Chase. No harm to wife and I.
Very cautious now about night driving locally.

Looks good. I've had three F-150s over the years.

Yeah, the F150 is a good ol' truck. My '04 now has about 50K miles. My previous F150 had about 150K miles before I gave it to a son-in-lay for his business.
Every man needs a pickup, right?

I've had a series of three trucks over recent years in order to complement the family car. Just can't get along without a truck to haul stuff.
