You know, I think lightning can strike drones too. Lucky it did not get hit this time because you got a great shot!

Maybe not as lucky as you think. I planned it. I hovered my drone in the direction of the storm and started recording. Waited for lightning strike. It's gone in a blink. Put video into post and stopped on specific frame. Exported to Lightroom and edited. It may appear lucky but there was thought and planning involved. Just happy about the final image.

Great shot! As for the ones that didn't leave the golf course when the sirens went off, we used to call those crispy critters in the world of EMS.😵
