I am the original owner of this Coolscan IV ED scanner, and it has been used to scan approximately 500 35mm slides (Kodachrome & Ektachrome) and negative film images. Fairly light use. It has been stored carefully, and all equipment is operating correctly. Works well with either the Nikon software, or VueScan and gives very good results. Digital ICE gave me very good results on time-faded slides. I have not used it with Windows 10, so can't address compatibility.
