Just a heads up. Canon is having FREE workshops at several national parks, with distinguished photographers. Go to Canon's website, and check with their marketing dept. All you need is your equipment.
There, you will find the particulars. On Canon's website.

The canon website has a schedule of classes with times and meeting locations for all the parks, some like Zion have about 40 scheduled, other just a few. I spent $99 last year at Yosemite for a 4 hr class from the Ansel Adams studio. There was a lot of walking but it covered a lot of different photo ops, waterfalls, half dome, etc. but everyone got as much personal attention as they wanted. If these classes from Canon are similar than they should be a good deal. Yosemite also had private classes at any level you needed/wanted. I learned a lot, now I have a new Canon 60D so I have a whole lot more to learn. My husband and I will be traveling all around the US for the summer so I hope to catch a class at one of the parks.
