Beautiful little Barred Kukri Snake (Oligodon signatus) from the lowland forest of Peninsular Malaysia. I have seen them feeding on lizard eggs a couple of times!

A surprise find during our final night at the montane forest of Sabah. After one Malcom's Pit Viper and two Mountain Pipe Snakes the nights before, I really wasn't expecting a Chasen's Mountain Pit Viper (Garthius chaseni).

As soon as I stepped out of the chalet, I saw this welcoming sight! A Malayan Bridle Snake (Dryocalamus subannulatus) on the tree right in front of the chalet! The fastest find ever. Kedah, Peninsular Malaysia.

Nice. You seem to have an incredible variety of species. Any guess how many you have photographed?

Wow! Thanks much for posting.
Beautiful set Kurt. Great variety of snakes a couple I've never seen before.
You do seem to have a lot of snakes over there. I wouldn't feel comfortable around them but they are certainly handsome creatures and your photography is out of this world. I prefer the frogs that you sometimes post, those flying ones with the big feet.
Amazing as always. My favorite is the pipe snake, as I really like the iridescent colors.
Excellent. Good photography and very informative.
Marvelous photography (as usual)!!!
