Foe those of you who bought nikon 7500s and use adobe for post processing the update is out now you it will recognize your raw files.
Remember
1) only put the.bin file on your SD card
2) make sure it is in the root directory - when you open the card on your computer you should see the bin file and not have to open another file to see it.
Directions are on the Adobe update page and in many previous posts.
I'm confused: Adobe updates are usually done at the software level. Nikon updates are done via .bin files on an SD card. Why would Adobe be creating a firmware update for Nikon cameras? Wouldn't Nikon frown on a third party mucking around with their cameras' firmware?
You're correct Adobe came out with the update so no bin thing. Just update Camera Raw.
MY MISTAKE - Hoggers please don't flood my in box.
was this issue only related to the 7500?
You'll have to read the rest - that was all that effected my wife and myself.
OK but no one seems to be having this issue with other 7000 series and or with Adobe,
Alls well that ends well.
Was an issue for 7500 not previous models
I just updated Adobe 2 or 3 days ago and I went to the software info on the computer and still the 7500 was not on the list of cameras added. Was there another update?
My wife updated on Saturday I believe - I saw it today when I went on my computer. She has the 7500
Yes I see that it is now supported but it isn't opening my files. Hmm, what to do next?
Ok I got the update and updating now- thanks a lot.
