Day 174 - Photo A Day Challenge - 6-22-2012

Welcome to Day 174 :) Today going to be a bit different. It's about the Past, Present, and Future. Where were you 5 years ago, Where are you now, and Where do you want to be in 5 years. Obviously I'm not asking for your street address or even your city .. it's more of a question of mindset than anything else .. how has your life changed from the past and how would you like it to change in the future. Don't think about it too long ... generally your gut instinct is correct .. no matter how silly it may sound. :)

Rolling hills .. beautiful countryside

Good Morning all..i was wondering what this challenge was all about! i don't have archives to pull from to tell story but will in words after i contemplate. Off to NJ for the day..see all of you later. have a great day!

5 years ago I felt my life was unravelling - long hours as a nurse, caring for an ill mother in law in our home, and caring for grandsons while our daughter worked - as well as trying to keep up with music, house chores etc.
I was really getting burned out and retired August 2010
Now, more fun with grandsons
And get-a-ways with my husband of almost 42 years.
We live ins a peaceful country setting and, though, busy, there is a peacefulness that is settling back into my life.
I am taking risks and "jumping in"
In 5 years or less, I hope to be where this man is - getting the best shot wherever I am
Because the "sky is the limit"!

ok Pat you and photo girl are so great at this i will have to think awhile on this one as well maybe have to borrow a couple of photos from photogirl like the balcony shot from the condo i could do that one in five years hehehehhehe hopefully i come up with something and will be back after awhile

i enjoyed seeing all the photos and they do tell a story
one question is that in the first photo you and your husband are sitting up stright but the ocean is running down hill? were you on a sail boat.

p1 It was a real challenge, Meo. Had to try and remember what I had in archives I could use.

me my son-in-law daughter with grandaughter in her belly and my first grandaughter
the store we bought that turned my life around, mostly for the good!
The store now, we have put sooooo much work into this place
we started doing donuts 2 years ago and it's going crazy!!
just bought this RV and converting it into a moblile donut RV
it's almost done, just have to paint donuts all over the outside, and guess that's my future spreading donuts around the world....not really just kinda

i loved your images epically the frayed rope, do yo have any idea what that man was shooting... it looks like bushido with all that gear and no assistant...
