I received an email from Perfectly Clear, as I'm sure many of you have also, and would like to download it, but want to be sure it's safe and worth it. Any suggestions?

All I found there was a sign-in for AOL.

EDIT: Yes, it is free - for 30 days.

Thanks Jerry! I didn't see anywhere that it was for only 30 days and that's exactly what I wanted to know and avoid. I have a Mac with PSCC.

If I had two choices, Jerry or Library of Congress... well Jerry would win.

I purchased a copy a few years ago based on reviews from Ken Rockwell. If you like "full auto" post processing adjustments, this is a useful tool, particularly for large volume processing. You can tweak things, but the power is mass processing of JPEGs. I'm from the school that all digital images require some level of processing. But, shooting RAW and having since created Lightroom presets for my cameras at specific ISO values, my own creative vision is realized in my presets rather than full auto via Perfectly Clear. The results from PC are good. Most images on Rockwell's site have been run thru PC as noted in the captions. What tools do you have already and does PC replace anything already bought and paid for?

PC caught my eye because I have been using NIK forever and now it's going away. I have Topaz and OnOne but have relied on NIK for so long that I will really have to learn these other plug ins and I've become quite lazy. Love that one click edit that I can tweak. Especially NIK's detail extractor. I'll really miss that. But certainly don't need to buy anymore plug ins. Thanks Steamboat.

Thanks.... this helps .......Don't think its for me

I too am from that school. I'm always looking for and easy tool that will get me less computer time. For me every image is different and Batch processing usually costs me more time.

I don't miss chemicals but after 19 years of digital consistent workflow is still always a challenge.
.......I think it has more to do with my general personality traits than the computer;-)
