Very hard to say without a list my friend. I hope you get clear of those bastards. They try to nail you to the wall while crooks like al sharp ton and just about every politition owe millions. I would list the ensues ad cameras seperate and then see what you have left. I'm a Nikon shooter and may be interested. That's why I'm here. I'm looking for an 810 and if I score well I'm going to get some more glass. My tuff is DX an fx. What state are you in

Me too. Debt consolidation and tax people are thieves and pinky ring used car salesmen and they can't do anything you can't do. I'm on SS and what a surprise when I got a check from a little post card I filled out for a class actin surprised, found money. Al sharp ton and the rest that owe million are roaming free while they try to screw the little guy.

Had a similar problem with the IRS. The treat you like you're Jesse James if you don't have the money up front right away. No sympathy, no compassion, just strictly business - Where's the money? and if you don't have it right away every thing you own of any value is attached until the "debt" is paid.

Thanks Doc, I appreciate the information. Fortunately, this was years ago due to a failed business and I am shed of them except for the usual tax filing in April every year. My apologies for leaving you hanging there, I should have been more forthcoming with the end results.

Yep, I was in the same boat a few years back - failed business and back payroll taxes. The IRS looked at me like I was Jessie James robbing a bank. Had to sell my primary real estate to get them off my back.

I don't know if anyone at IRS told you this, but you can negotiate with them for a reduced payment or longer time to repay your debt. If you need camera equipment to earn a living, you can very likely keep it.

Google "Offer in Compromise." Chances are whomever you might hire would use this same method in negotiating with the IRS. It is something you can likely do yourself and save big $.

I have known of many people owing the IRS and getting away with it or at least ridiculous low payments. You by any chance got a x wife working there? Something is up.

FYI. You really dont need to pay someone to negotiate with the IRS. i know someone who negotiated her own compromise with the IRS.

I was going to say the same thing. My daughter’s ex-husband owed several thousand dollars, she got it down to about $1.00. However, he was disabled, unable to work, and had no money. But, she did it herself, without going through an expensive company.
