Started long ago, Canon Pellix, was my second Canon..

Never been without some good cameras since then..some periods with a Kowa 6..sometimes with a rangefinder.
Now though, I'm finally tired of carting around all the stuff....heavy, large lenses, big cameras, big camera cases. Go to the beach, worried about the huge lump of equipment sitting there..
Last several trips I, "took my iPhone" as a camera, again, just didn't want to lug all the weight and theft target...

Looked at the Sony mirrorless...held it in my hands with the 50mm1.8....seemed tiny.
Damn thing shoots quality with anything out there.....so I'm thinking my Canon 6 and the lenses, are
soon to be out in the world of used equipment. The only thing that would make me wait is if someone
out there could promise me a Canon equivalent within a year.....and that's not looking good right now.

Small has always worked. Just could never find it. Now I have, I feel like I'm abandoning an old friend in Canon.
Yes, I've owned Nikon, but just opted to stay with Canon for subjective reasons....I would feel the same about Nikon right now
as I do Canon...they are now, to me, "the fat boys", who have really been slow to change.

If anyone has wonderful news that would hold up my turnover time....let me know!

I like this site!

Welcome to the UHH site. Be careful as some will give you GAS. Gear Acquisition Syndrome. I resist GAS as it is the person behind the camera is what counts.

The Canon M3 is just a tiny thing and you can use your lenses, M6, or M5 "aint" too shabby either!

Welcome to the forum.
I started with a Canon EX-Auto, then an Ftb, and an AE-1. When I went digital, I picked up a little Sony H-1 (still use) but really had to get a full size body, purchased a T1i. (I've always been pleased with Canon.)
