These little fella's just popped out of the nest and, not so good at first but finally figured it out then moved on. And one needed a foot up in the world, My wife walked him across the driveway before he finally decided to try it on his own.. Great watching them

LOL! What a great series of photographs. I had a juvenile bird land on my kitchen window just like your top picture. Scared me at first because I wasn't expecting it. Then he looked at me and flew off. I like your story better. ;-) Cheers.

Lazy little hitch hiker.Some of the fledglings in my yard have perched on the bird feeder while I water the plants and a few times have let me get within 2 feet or so before deciding to fly off.
