So I got the plastic optic and couldn't wait to try it... it's crazy different alright, but in a way I like it!! I've deleted many, but the few I kept are a different look for me and it's fun to change things up a bit!! That's one thing about the Lensbaby, you can't just have one optic and they all give you different looks and I love playing with them all!!

On all of these I used the f4 aperture disc, for some reason, I like the effect it created, but I still need to try all the rest!!

Hope you like!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, Angela, and now I've been duly inspired to try out the plastic and will post here unless they turn out hideous.

Thanks, again, Donna!!!
I'm glad these inspired you to dust yours off... and nothing and I mean nothing you do can ever turn out hideous!!! I want to see!

And you're too sweet to tell me the truth if they did look hideous, Angela. Just sent you a PM and will try again tomorrow.

I know I will never, ever have to tell you that... I know you are like me and wouldn't post if you didn't like it yourself and to me, that's all that matters!
I got your message, try again tomorrow!!

Gorgeous, Angela, and I like them even more the second time around! All of that pink is very appealing, and I love the shot with the yellow and white flowers added. Nice surprise! I also like the shot you toned down. That's a totally different look.
Lensbaby.com has a refurbished Plastic for $35, but I can't decide between that and the Soft Focus, which is almost impossible to find. Decisions, decisions! I'll figure it out eventually, but I think I'm leaning more to the Soft Focus.

Many thanks Jane... as I just said to Donna, on my pc that shot didn't look THAT bright, but seeing it on my tablet, I was blinded by the light!!! LOL...
I've been looking high and low for the Soft Focus, but like you said, it's impossible to find. I looked at images of the Plastic lens on Flickr and thought it looked interesting. I found one on Ebay, I think it was for $35 with the Muse... and stupid me, bid $45.... but in the mean time, I found it on Amazon, free shipping, for $50 and 2 day shipping... so I was 'forced' to buy!!!! And wouldn't you know, I won the bid on Ebay and I should have just bid the $35... I still think I got a better deal!! Good luck on your Soft Focus search, I might still look on ebay for it.... hope we don't get into a bidding war!!! LOL...
Enjoy this beautiful day!! David is playing golf and I'm just hanging out at home!!

Okay- I will have to get my grand to start watching ebay for me. No end to this I think. These are all so beautiful! The dof and composition of #1 brought forth an out loud hum. I have been trying to think of what the look of this optic is and the closest I can think of is, a washed water color. It is just a lovely way to present and capture flowers. Anxious to see more. Great job with this Angela!

Sandy, you are in luck, there is still one on ebay... I believe he was asking $35 with the Muse, which I have no idea what that is... first I bid $40 then it asked me to raise it so I wouldn't lose out, so I raised it to $45. Found it on Amazon for $50, no shipping and it would arrive in 2 days... you know I just couldn't wait!! Turns out I apparently won the bid, but didn't follow up. This optic is the hardest, in my opinion, to navigate... but I was pleased with the outcome and have taken many more shots to post!!

Glad you enjoyed them. I figure if my Velvet 56 doesn't pan out for Christmas, at least this has soft focus... and the soft focus optic is impossible to find, so this was the next best thing!

So yes, having a Lensbaby is like eating potato chips, you can't just have one!!! LOL...

Cathy, this is all your fault... because you posted yours and gave such a wonderful demo, I knew I had to try this. It really is tricky and I think the subject matter has a lot to do with it working right, but even deleting is fun and I enjoy the challenge!!
I so appreciate your kind comments and thumbs and thanks again!!
