Hi. I just discovered hedgehog the other day. I am 77 years young, soon to be 78 in October, and I live in the great state of Colorado, USA. It has been years since I had my camera out. Maybe I should dust it off and start shooting. Might motivate me to walk more. My method of operandi has been shoot lots of pics and hope I get a good one. For a while, I think I'll lurk and learn. I don't get out as often any more, and I really should. I would love to hear from you. Some of the camera talk is way way over my head. Please keep that in the back of your minds when we talk.

Welcome to the forum.
Yes, by all means get out and shoot. It will exercise your body as well as your mind.
Don't worry about what you don't understand right now, shoot, experiment, and enjoy.
(There are things I understand, but am just not worried about.)
You can always delete what you think did not turn out right.
