during the campaign the republicans made two of many promises. repeal and replace the ACA, and tax reform. to date it looks like they will blow it on both.

1 they can't seem to come up with a health care plan that looks out for the public as much as the insurance companies.
2 with a tax code that contains 74,000 pages and too many to count deductions and exemptions written specifically for special interest groups. I don't see any major rewrite.

The disappointment I have is that in all this time one would think the Republican party could have worked on a viable solution and simply locked it in a safe for the moment when they are back in power. One would think they'd expect that to happen at some date in the future. The same goes with the tax code. Prepare the revision. Keep it locked up and secret. Then, when the time is right, such as now, they are prepared. It's disappointing to see how they are floundering around at present.

One example that comes to mind is the budget. As I recall, Speaker Ryan, last December, had to pass the bill hardly reading it. He opined that they just didn't have sufficient time to review it. What the hell? This bill has to be passed on or before a specific date by law. It's not like it was a pop quiz in school. It's moments like that that make me wonder why we are paying them. Or, how do they manage to keep their jobs.

A little research will show that it is not the t***h. At the same time there are sources that reveal promises that were not carried out and you would be able to ascertain that it was not necessarily the fault of the president. Just sayin...

Thus you are insinuating that the promises not being kept by Trump are of his own doing ?

The disappointment I have is that in all this time... (show quote)

Did you hear about the new pistol Ruger came out with a couple of years ago? It's called the Congressman. It's low caliber, it does not work, and you can't fire it!

You seem to have difficulty taking a fact for what it is and not inferring anything. If you don't agree with a fact, that's fine.

The "t***h" is that NO President has ever kept ALL of his campaign promises.

The people who do NOT support that person...rakes them over the coals for not keeping their promise.

The people who support(ed) him, make excuses.

Is that "acceptable"?
That depends on whether you support(ed) that person or not.

I've lived through multiple presidents, research not needed as I've lived it.

I have NO idea what you're talking about.

What did I say that is "untrue" or "unresearched"?

What?? You can't even follow your own reply and realize that you should check to see if you have mis-spoke? Maybe you're as smart as Scott and have all the correct answers, sorry.

Since you are the one contradicting my statement, the onus of proof falls on you.
