Absolutely gorgeous Malcom's Pit Viper (Trimeresurus malcomi) from the montane forest of Sabah, Borneo (East Malaysia). Spotted this stunner late one night during our last HerpTour Borneo back in May, 2017.

Always happy to see a Kuhl's Flying Gecko (Ptychozoon kuhli) in the wild. They are the kuhl-est and the best looking geckos in Malaysia IMO. Lowland forest of Peninsular Malaysia.

As always, these are simply amazing. I wonder how the Malcom's Pit Viper uses its distinctive tail. Maybe it is as a lure?
Never seen a 'slug snake' before. It does seem to be a true snake and not a legless lizard, near as I can tell.
