These photos were made during this summer using a 7D MK II and a EF 100-400 mm MKII lens. Birds are tough subjects to capture, and out West in Silver City, NM; they behave more skittishly than in the Midwest where I am originally from.

Vert nice, don't be concerned about the skittishness; we have a lot humming birds around and they win the prize for Skittishness.

Their all relatively common in the Southwest where I live in Silver City NM.
