You might check out Greentoe.com. Bought my D750 with 24-120 mm lens through them at $100 less than online or retail plus free shipping and no sales tax. All products are US warranty and no grey market and 30 day return. You submit your price, they put it out to authorized retailers and if someone accepts then you deal with them, pay through PayPal. Simple. Also, bought my Tamron 150-600mm G2 through them, again about $100 less than retail or online price. Check them out.

I bought my Nikon D750 and Nikon 24-120 lens from B&H. I've also bought other lenses, filters, backpacks, and a 4K TV from them. Great company to deal with. Excellent service and good prices.

Update. Someone in this place mentioned that Nikon had had their third recall for shutter timing issues. So I just called B&H for more information about this and for some re-assurance that I was making the right decision regarding the D750. Was put through to Howard in the Pro Camera department at B&H. He said that both Nikon and Canon probably outsourced their supply of shutters buying them in from Seiko and Copal in Japan. Cannon had also had their share of camera recalls. Howard did say that while Nikon didn't test every shutter installed as that logistically would be too difficult Nikon did frequently test those shutters through to failure - well in excess of 200,000 'exposures'.

Howard had been a Nikon user for 25 years and thought they were fabulous cameras.

Thought this would be of interest.

Delighted to announce that my Nikon D750 arrived an hour ago. Battery now on charge. Somewhat over-awed by the learning curve ahead of me. That user manual is pretty daunting. But can also admit to a degree of excitement!!

The last recall to my knowledge from Canon was 2014 with a rubber gasket on the SX50. Prior to that was a light leak on the 5DIII in 2013 with a select number. There was also an issue with a T4i in 2012. T I don't believe they have had a recall since then and I can't find any information about a shutter issue in the last 5 years whatsoever. I visit several Canon forums and that's the first time I heard about shutters. I've been lucky, I have never hit a recall. My 5DIII was fixed well before I bought.

Although, I have read this is the 3rd recall on shutters with the D750. Too bad, it's still a great camera and if I wasn't so invested in Canon gear, this might have been a consideration to buy years ago.

I've had really good success with B&H, Adorama and Best Buy. Best Buy provides me with a 45 day, no questions asked, return policy.
