Stonehenge part 2...

....these are the final photos from Stonhenge and the first photo is of the Heel stone that stands at the side of the henge stones and after that a photo of the plaque which explains about the Heel stone and the rest i will title.See how many faces you can see on the Heel stone,we saw four and the red field behind the replica village is a field full of poppies.

Thanks for a most enjoyable series. I liked seeing people in the photos - gives a sense of scale to the stones.

Enjoyed the trip with you. I also enjoyed the link to the history of the place. How close are you allowed to get to the main stones in Stonehenge, because it appears that you were taking photos from a distance.

Thanks AuntiemM i'm glad you liked them and thanks also for looking in i always appreciate it.I would say we where about 60 to 70 yards or so from the stones all round the full circle. AuntieM.
