A farmer friend of mine keeps geese on his property. He says there better than a watch dog. They carry on and let him know when some is on his land. He hasn't had any vandlism since he got them.
I seem to have trouble with cliffs. This is a story you can all appreciate.
In the early 80's I was at one of my favorite west coast photo haunts, Pt. Lobos. I was at the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean along with other photographers. I was leaning over to shoot sea otters and not paying attention to my footing, As I started to slip, a hand grabbed me by the belt and held me safe. After I coaxed my heart down from my throat I noticed a pleasant older man holding a Hassie 500CM . He had been my saviour. After a few minutes of calming down and admiring his camera, we introduced ourselves. This gentle old man holding the Hasselblad who had held my life in his hand was Brett Weston. He was living in nearby Carmel at the time. My brush with greatness.

I have had a few close encounters with police, bouncers and security guards whilst taking images. Also nearly got trampled by a horse and run over by cars a few times. The eagle owl in my avitar wanted me dead. She was tethered to a post or stand thing and with wingspan of getting close to a metre. She was flapping and dragging the stand towards me.
Oh and the Queen's security and snipers paid particular close attention to me. Enough to have the head security guy pick me out from a crowd and check my gear.

I've been laughing for an hour. The look on its face makes your statement even funnier!!!
