It took me 5 years at 25 minutes a year and I think that I finally got the settings right. Not bad for roughly 2 hours practice

Exposure 2 to 4 seconds
White balance was set for sunlight

...these came out nice! I tried some at 8-10 seconds, much busier but I know what to do next year; 2 to 4 seconds of exposure!

Great capturing of the fireworks. I'm going on my 6th year next fourth, just can't seem to get the handle on it. Either too slow/fast or too bright/dark. Congrats on yours!!🎆🎇

I used youtube this year and that seemed to do the trick. I am more of a visual learner.

Excellent! Some of the best I've seen. I tried it a few times - with film. Got it right the first time, but failed miserably every time after that!
