Simply awesome, Angela! The yellows are so bright and creamy and I love your perspective of the coneflower. You must have a beautiful garden with a great variety of flowers. It seems that every time you post it's a different blossom, and I thoroughly enjoy all of them. I'm going to have to pick up a set of the macro converters. Love the effect!
Enjoy your day! It's pretty cloudy here.

Hi Jane.... All my flowers and veggies are planted in pots, this way it's easy to weed and I always find a place for a new plant and pot!!
Glad you enjoyed these and you will love those macro converters, especially with the Sweet 50 since the minimum focal distance is 18" and I like to get closer! I like the combination of using just the 8mm with this lens, it's not too close, but close enough!!
How'd it go at the vet????

I'm keeping my 8mm on the 50. I'm just not getting close enough without it for closeups. I tried the 16 too, but the 8 and 16 together was too much magnifying for me.

I agree, there's closeup and then there's too much closeup... but fun to play with and you never know what might turn out!!

These are stunning pics! You nailed these shots just right.

I think I'm going to have to get my Sweet 50 out with the macro extenders.

Thanks so much Cathy for your wonderful comment and thumbs....
You've got to try this combination with the 8mm macro and the Sweet 50, it brings the shots in just the perfect amount.... like Donna, I'm keeping it with the Sweet 50!

Hi Jane.... All my flowers and veggies are plante... (show quote)

The vet went pretty well. Unfortunately he developed a cold and is on medication. I'm leaving for the shore Saturday and am trying to find a pet setter last minute. Usually my neighbor watches him, but I don't think she'd give him meds.
Plus I want someone experienced to check on him. The asthma is under control, thank God. No coughing since Sunday morning. For my peace of mind I want to hire a professional. Keep your fingers crossed that I find a pet sitter!
