I just received a refurbished Nikon D7200 to replace a stolen D7100 in Spain. My question is about the literature for the D7100. Can I assume that all the books I have on the D7100 are pretty much applicable to this D7200? I seem to recall that the only big item was an increased buffer. Any in put is as always greatly appreciated.

co grats on the new to you D7200. You can download a printable owner's manual from Nikon, for free. For a decent guide book, you get "Nikon D7200 for Dummies" from Amazon. It's reasonably priced.
Judging by various reviews I have seen the D7100 has Wi-Fi capability as an option, via an adaptor. The D7200 has it built in. The D7100 has continuous focusing in videos. The D7200 does not (backwards from what you would expect). The D7100 has an Expeed 3 processor while the D7200 has an Expeed 4. The D7200 has Time Lapse capability, and the D7100 does not. The D7200 has Flat Picture Control, and the D7100 does not. The D7200 ISO can go to 102,400, while the D7100 has a top ISO of 25,600. The D7200 has less shutter lag than the D7100. The D7200 has less noise at high ISOs. The D7200 has slightly more Dynamic Range. The D7200 has a longer battery life. The D7200 has a larger buffer. Apart from such minor differences, the cameras are pretty much the same. The D7200 is slightly "better." Owner's manuals can be downloaded from nikonusa.com. Amazon Kindle Book Store has: "Nikon D7100 For Dummies", and Nikon D7200 For Dummies" ebooks available.

I believe the D7100 does have a time lapse capability
http://www.dummies.com/photography/cameras/nikon-camera/automatic-time-lapse-photography-on-your-nikon-d7100/ Also Darrell Young's books on Mastering the Nikon DXXXX Series are very good.

Was thinking about travel to Spain. Just curious, what was the manner of theft of your camera? Pulled from your shoulder, hold-up, grab and run, etc? Good luck with your d7200.

Just spent several days in Spain on a Mediterranean cruise w/stops in Cadiz, Seville, Majorca, etc; I took my D700 w/24-70mm & encountered no issues. Simply pointing out that not all Spanish encounters are problematic.

My favorite Nikon books are from Darrell Young--on Amazon--"Mastering the Nikon D7100" (Didn't look for the D7200, because of the similarities.)
