Couple more attempts at product displays - using my own items in all the marketing shots.
You've got a lot of glare of the lock (second shot) and watch face. On the first one, I'd get rid of the glasses. Items in threes seem to be more pleasing and the plastic glasses don't quite fit. IMHO
Yes, you are right about the glare. Something I will watch for in the future.
Not photograpy talk, but I lived in Los Alamos in 1951 and 1952. They had a gate with a machine gun tower and everyone had to have an ID card for entrance. I really liked it there.

I came here in 1951 as a two year old with my parents. I grew up here and graduated from the high school in 1966. We don't have any gates to prevent access to the townsite but the Laboratory has plenty of other gates to keep non-employees out. I believe the machine guns are a thing of the past - but I could be wrong. I left for about 12 years and my first marriage but came back in 1979 and haven't left since. It's still a nice town and I still like it.
Good job, cargo696! How clever and well done!
I have done product shots for years. You may want to do a blend of several exposures in layers similar to HDR but without all the detail enhancements. Looking at the photos I don't know what you're selling. Is it the watch, the glasses the scarf, the bag? I really cannot tell unless it is for a window or showcase for all three. Additionally, I don't care much for black backgrounds unless they're done in post production. That's just my preference with soft goods and metals. You need to have highlights to enliven the image. Keep the compositions simple on a white background that looks white then if you want to alter the atmosphere you can mask out the goods and place them on a pure black background.
Thanks for your comments.
Your comments really have given me very useful ideas for my next composition of products. This was just a combination of things I put together without thought of highlighting one particular item. Thanks!

You're welcome. For items with color like the bags, I would use an all white background with white props, white scarf or product stands like clear or white hands holding the bag. This will put the product front and center.
