I love the composition and dof of the last! #3 is gorgeous, and the others are quite close runners-up You and your new camera were made for each other!

All beautiful, Cathy, but #3 wins the blue ribbon! Cameras and lenses can't do a thing by themselves. Somebody has to do the clicking!

Love all of these Cathy. As you said, one is interesting and I really like it. The rose in three is unusual and beautiful. It makes a winning shot. The last one is a very nice composition with the orange Lilies and the fence.

Beautifull set CathyAnn and I agree with Linda, that last shot is a standout. It has a 3D look that I really like.

Thank you so much, Linda, for the wonderful comment!!! When I saw Earl's pictures with his FZ-1000, I went over the moon where that camera is concerned. I just couldn't fight it! ...I should say, "Resistance is futile!" lol!

I really like that one too, Bruce. However, in my art classes back in the "Dark Ages," my favorite teacher said to not run anything into a corner. He called it a "merger". I liked the picture anyway, but that old teaching can be hard to shake. lol! Thank you for your wonderful compliment and thumb!

Beautiful, Cathryn--every one a winner in my books. Didn't take you long to sort the camera out, but as Donna said, you had to do your part, too.

Gorgeous shots, Cathy, and I'm glad you're having fun with the new camera. All beauties for sure, but I'm leaning toward the last shot. It has great composition and lines.

Sis, that camera sure does work great with a photographer who knows how to use it.

Lovely set CathyAnn !
You have already started to exploit that camera.
Camera is just a tool. It is the person behind it that counts.
