The Houston Zoo- Chapter 4

Besides the amazing animals I saw at the zoo, I was also able to shoot several examples of interesting plant life. Posting 8 images. Comments welcome and I hope you enjoy.

I have no idea what the first one is bug I love it. One stem in a vase would make an arrangement. The knarled tree it looks rather old and quite beautiful.

Excellent set, the first flower is a red Mexican bird of paradise, at least that is what we call them in Tucson, AZ.
