My old 70-300mm is way to slow to capture one in flight. As I can sit close to the feeder, I switched to 24-85 mm vr lens. Tried to focus lock when they were at the feeder. Many will back off of the feeder & then return to it. This is the best of what I've taken so far. Yes, it was cropped significantly . All comments, thoughts welcome. I did use on board flash. Too close a crop also?
