I purchased this during an Estate Sale for it was included with the Nikon F4 that I wanted. Looks like new with no signs of use, in the case with the original instructions. I would rate it as VG. There are no batteries in it so I cannot verify that it works but I will accept returns if it doesn't. Similar meters can be found on the Web for about $75 so I'm open to offers over the next week.

Why not put a single AA Battery in it and see if the LCD Display turns on? You may not be able to actually test it fully but you would at least know it powers up.

Could not even get a AAA battery in it. It has a case for five s-76 batteries

I've used this meter for over 25 years, it works great. it takes an 4LR44 battery(6V) and you can get one at batteries+.

Thanks for the information. I ordered some batteries today but will keep this in mind as a back-up.

My bad. My Minolta Flash Meter IV takes one AA and I incorrectly assumed this one did too.

Yeah, that is one of the great updates of the IV over the III.

Would you sell the meter untested for the price of 6 LR44 batteries?

Well I ordered the batteries the other day and they arrived yesterday. Have not had a chance to check it out yet but obviously this deal would not work at this point. I'll report back once I've tried it out.

Thanks for the offer but who ever owned this batch of goods I rec'd had saved all of the instruction books as well. Put the batteries in today, I'm going to need to put a roll of film in the Rollei to see how well it is working
